BBC Radio 1 Online Essential Selection

Back in 2001, Pete Tong and BBC Radio 1 Online asked Charles to create the world’s first weekly streaming VJ mix, to accompany Pete Tong’s Essential Selection on BBC Radio 1. A worldwide hit in Clubland, the Essential Selection Visual mix ran for four years. Each week featured a guest VJ mix from the world’s best VJs on the world’s best laptops, as well as global themes from the world’s four (reasonably) habitable continents.
