What we do
Strategic Communications and policy.
Kriel.Agency was founded in 2017 with an emphasis on StratComs. Our team has consulted clients since 2001 under earlier iterations of the company — Black Swan Media, and 12 Stories Tall.
From our participation this year in the 73rd United Nations General Assembly dealing with counter terrorism, to our humble beginnings working with BBC Radio 1, we’ve pioneered the practical use of new technology, and advised on the progressive policy-making we believe should surround it.
Our current clients include the UK House of Commons, NATO Strategic Command, Radio Netherlands, and Corsham Institute. We work around the world, from Iraq to Tajikistan, from Kosovo to Norway.
Since 2001, we’ve worked with UNESCO WSIS, the US State Department, the Mongolian Parliament, Mercedes Benz, BBC, FremantleMedia, Disney / ABC, Aardman, Mercedes Benz, Saatchi & Saatchi, Channel 4, Elsevier, and ITV, under different iterations of Kriel.Agency.
We’ve been nominated for an Emmy® for game design, and have received dozens of awards, including the Wellcome Trust People Award, Ars Electronica Award, and grants / commissions from Arts Council England, ICA and others.
But our main concern is the civil society. We’re here to tell the story of the pluralistic consensus upon which democracy is founded.
